It's summertime in a hot and empty Buenos Aires. Marcela's world is shaken when her sister dies, leaving her completely out of sorts. Still grieving, she must deal with clearing out her flat. One of her daughter’s young friends, Nacho, appears on the scene, eager to help, a presence which leads to shared road trips and adventures. After years Toni and Rosa meet again in their old home village in southern Germany. While the village itself has to adapt to the changes of the future, the two women develop an explosive relationship until they reach a point, where both have to make a decision.

Three families from three different level of society are involved in an accident.
